Mr. Dana Caldwell Campbell, 57, of 1102 Center Church Road in Eden passed away on Friday morning, January 22, 2010 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.
A service of remembrance will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, January 25, 2010 at Boone-Reynolds Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Campbell was born in Danville, Va., on July 19, 1952, a son of Gladys Caldwell Campbell and the late Thomas Swanson Campbell. He was a certified welder.
He is survived by his daughter, Theresa Robertson of Eden; his mother Gladys C. Campbell of Eden; his sisters, Linda C. Allen of Wrightsville Beach, and Tammy Howell of Critz, Va; his brother, Devon Campbell of Oklahoma; and his beloved dog, “Pooter”.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Grubbs Campbell, his daughter, Carrie Marie Campbell and his brother, Joel Thomas Campbell.
The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
