Joel Thomas Campbell Sr., 49, of 1071 Grogan Road died Saturday, Oct. 16, 1993, at Morehead Memorial Hospital, Eden.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Fair Funeral Home, Eden.
A native of Leaksville, he was a blacksmith. He was a member of EAA, experimental Aircraft Assoc., Pace Airfield Chapter, the Dan River Masonic Lodge 129, Scottish Rite and the York Rite Degrees.
Surviving are wife, Ann Minter Campbell of the home; daughter, Rolla C. Brown of Burlington; son, Joel Campbell Jr. of Stoneville; grandchildren, Brittany Ann Campbell and James Thomas Campbell both of Stoneville; mother, Gladys C. Campbell of Eden; brothers, Dana Campbell of Eden, Devon Campbell of Stedman; sisters, Tammy Hinchee of Horsepasture, Va., Linda C. Allen of Wrightsville Beach.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home 7-9 tonight.
