Delphia Irby Washam

Mrs. Delphia Washam, widow of John Washam, passed away at her home in the north part of town, Tuesday, August 4, 1931, after a two week illness of apoplexy and paralysis.

She was born Delphia Irby, 66 years ago in Turnback neighborhood east of here. After her marriage to John Washam, she settled in the Sycamore vicinity.

She is survived by three sons, Elza, Tom and Frank, all of Miller, and five grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at her home on Wednesday August 5, 1931 by Rev. R.M. Shook, after which interment was made in the Sycamore cemetery.
