Jo Ann Hargett Hastings

Mrs. Hastings, age 68, passed away Friday, April 20, 2007. She now rests at home in Heaven with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Born June 16, 1938 in Charlotte, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Smith Hargett and Virginia Schenck Hargett. Mrs. Hastings was a homemaker. After relocating to Mocksville, NC, she was a faithful member of Gospel Light Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Baxter Hastings; three daughters, Kathy Hastings, Shelly Hastings and Joy Hastings Styers; a son, Michael Hastings; two sisters, Rachel Morrow and Nancy Fogle; two brothers, Bobby Hargett and Charles Edward Hargett; and two grandchildren, Grant Michael Hastings and Rebekah Blaire Hastings. The Service to Celebrate the Life of Jo Ann Hargett Hastings will be held 2:00 PM Monday, April 23, 2007 at Northside Baptist Church Chapel. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.
