Jack Raymond Hastings

Jack Raymond Hastings, 65, of Edmond, OK, passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2007, in Edmond. Born February 23, 1942 to Raymond R. and Pauline Hastings in Edmond. He was married for over 42 years to the love of his life, Frances. Jack retired from Tinker AFB in 1998 after 37 years. He was a supervisor in the cable shop.

He is preceded in death by his father; brother, James E. Hastings; maternal grandparents, John and Mae Kennedy; and paternal grandparents, Oscar and Maggie Hastings. Survivors include his wife of the home; daughter, Robin Johnson and her husband Ken of Edmond; sons, Raymond Hastings of Edmond and Ronald Hastings of OKC; mother, Pauline Hastings of Edmond; grandchildren, John Graeber, Jr. of Guthrie; Jared Moon and Jordan Brewer of Edmond; brothers, Elwyn Hastings and wife Cynthia of Moore and Charles Hastings and wife Linda of Guthrie. He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Jack will always be remembered for his love of fishing and bowling. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. David James and the Odyssey Healthcare Staff.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2007 at Gracelawn Cemetery in Edmond. Services are under the direction of the Matthews Funeral Home, Edmond, OK.
