Franklin A. Clampitt, 84, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2011, after a short illness. He was born on February 14, 1927, in Beaumont, TX. He graduated from Beaumont High School and following his military service, Frank completed a degree in chemistry at Lamar University. He was a retired lab supervisor from Texas Gulf Sulphur with 28 years of service.
Preceding him in death are his parents; Robert C. and Hattie B. Clampitt and one brother, R. Moody Clampitt. He is survived by one niece, Diane (Jeffrey) Moss of Belle, WV, and three nephews, Robby (Mary Ann) Clampitt of Nederland, Wayne (Gerry) Clampitt of Dripping Springs and Charlie (Kim) Clampitt of Tomball and special friends, Gary and Nancy Robbins of Beaumont.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 10:00 a.m., at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at 11:00 a.m., at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

John Mark Hastings
MOORESVILLE -- Mr. Hastings, age 53, died Tuesday July 27, 2004 at his residence.
He was born June 1, 1951 in Mooresville, son of the late Brady Monroe Hastings and Vera Virginia Hager Hastings. He was a sales associate at Wal-Mart.
Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 30 in the Chapel of Raymer Funeral Home. Burial will be at 2 p.m. on Friday at Iredell Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends following the service.
Survivors are his wife, Ronda Galliher Hastings; sons, John Mark Hastings, Jr. and Benjamin McNeely Hastings, both of Mooresville; stepson, Nathan Wood, and stepdaughters, Whitney and Lacey Wood, all of Statesville; and sister, Barbara Hastings Coggins of Mooresville.

Andrew Campbell "Mack" Hastings
A PROMINENT CITIZEN DIED TUESDAY MORNING AT THE PARIS SANITARIUM -- WAS BURIED HERE WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON.
M.C. Hastings, prominent citizen of Golden, died at the Paris Sanitarium Tuesday morning, September 23, after an operation for gall stones. His body was brought to this city for burial. Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church, Wednesday afternoon at 3:30, the Rev. W.W. Starnes, pastor of the First Christian Church of Idabel, conducting the ceremony. Interment in the Crown Hill cemetery near town, followed.
Mr. Hastings was a member of the Christian Church and was one of McCurtain County's best citizens. He had lived at Golden for many years and was justice of the peace there several years.
The deceased is survived by a wife, three daughters, Mrs. T.E. Bennett, Pleasant Hill; Mrs. Jim Bennett, Marietta, and Miss Elizabeth Hastings, Golden; four sons, Joe Hastings, of near Broken Bow; Price and Mack Hastings, Golden; and Frank Hastings. He was also a brother of J.P. Hastings, of this city.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge here and the Masons had charge of the body at the funeral. Several Masons from Idabel were in attendance.
The floral offerings were beautiful and numerous.

SIKESTON -- Lizzie M. Hastings Campbell, 92, died Sept. 20, 2008, at her home.
Born Feb. 14, 1916, in New Madrid County, daughter of the late William Gardner and Maudie Beck Hastings, she was a member of the former Little Vine Baptist Church.
On July 16, 1936, she married John D. Campbell who preceded her in death on Feb. 5, 1986. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph Hastings and William Doyle Hastings; four sisters, Opal Pruett, Leta Settles, Mary Hopper and Dorothy Alley; and one son-in-law, Duke Vannerson.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, John David "Bud" and Joanie Campbell of Sikeston; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Regina Vannerson of Paducah, Ky., Johnalee and Lowell Collins of Union City, Tenn., and Dixie and Don Hale of Nashville, Tenn.; one brother and sister-in-law, Donald Ray and Geneva Hastings of Sikeston; three sisters, Lucille Pruett and Modena Hastings of Sikeston and Ozeal Jones of Anderson, Ind.; and 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren,

Born June 8, 1909, in New Madrid County, daughter of the late William Gardner and Maudie Beck Hastings, she was a member of Little Vine Church of the Big Opening Community.
In April 1939, she married John Franklin Alley who preceded her in death in April 1966.
One son, Carl Melvin Alley; two brothers, William Doyle Hastings and Ralph Franklin Hastings; and three sisters, Opal Pruett, Mary Hopper and Leta Settles, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one daughter, Janette Vaden of Truman, AR; one brother, Donald Ray Hastings of Sikeston; four sisters, Lucille Pruett, Lizzie Campbell and Modena Hastings of Sikeston and Ozeal Jones of Anderson, IN; and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Juanita Hicks Moore
Juanita Hicks Moore, age 94, of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2007, at Stella Manor Nursing Center, in Russellville. She was born in Dover, Arkansas, to George and Clarienda Brewer Hicks on April 4, 1913.
Her parents; one brother, Carl Hicks and wife Chloe and one niece, Rita Dunn and husband Bill preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, Robert H. Moore (Betty) of Russellville; one grandson, Robert Russell Moore of Chicago, IL; one nephew, L.C. Hicks (Mary Jane) of Russellville; two great nephews, Jim Dunn (Karen) and their daughter Jamie Dunn of Russellville; L.C. Hicks, III (Jody) and their daughter Paige Hicks of Shanghai, China; one great niece, Beverly Behrens (Paul) of Jacksonville, FL.
Juanita was a life-long Methodist. She played the piano in the Dover Methodist Church for 18 years. After moving to Russellville and joining First United Methodist, she became a member of the Deaton-Roush Circle and the P.K. Merrill Sunday School Class. She remained an active member as long as she was able to attend. Juanita held a lifetime membership in Arkansas Valley Chapter 606, Order of the Eastern Star.
Juanita retired as a Timber Sale Clerk with U.S. Forest Service with 32 years of federal service.
Funeral held December 19, 2007, in the First United Methodist Church Chapel. Rev. Matthew Johnson and Rev. Tom Frase officiated. Burial at McFadden Cemetery at Dover under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
Active pallbearers were Robert Russell Moore, Sid Brain, Jerry Burns, Olin Cook, Jim Dunn, Harold Humphrey, Doug Lowery and LeMoyne Smith. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Deaton-Roush Circle, P.K. Merrill Sunday School Class and Arkansas Valley Chapter 606, OES.

Fredrick S. Victor Jr., 86, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Monday, Nov. 28, 2005, at Northwest Medical Center of Benton County in Bentonville, Ark. He was born Feb. 13, 1919, in Muskogee, Okla., to Fredrick S. Victor Sr. and Dorothy Mae Showalter Victor.
He served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was president of the 1939 Class at Oklahoma A&M, now Oklahoma State University. He was vice president of National Cooperative Refinery Association in McPherson, Kan. He was a member of the Disciples of Christ Church for 55 years, having served as a deacon, elder and Chairman of Board at Edina, Minn., and Dallas, Texas. He was a past member of the Bella Vista Community Church. He was a member of the Bella Vista Presbyterian Church. He was co-leader of the Presbyterian Golf Association and Shepherd Group. He enjoyed golf, bridge, travel and sports.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry Victor, and Paul Victor; a sister, DeeLaura Allen; and his first wife, Nancy Louise Victor.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Mickie Victor; two sons and daughters-in-law, Grant Victor and Julie Victor of Dallas, Texas, and David Victor and Brenda Victor of Albany, Ga.; a daughter and son-in-law, Judy Moore Nichols and Charles Nichols of Kansas City, Mo.; three stepchildren, John Duncan of Bologna, Italy, Diane Thompson and her husband Doug Thompson of Wichita, Kan., and Dick Duncan and his wife Teresa Duncan of Austin, Texas; a sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy Baker and Jim Baker of Broken Bow, Okla.; three grandchildren, Rae Fourt, David More, and Ryan Victor; seven stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one stepgreat-grandchild.
